Toledo, OH – April 16, 2010 - Miljoco Corporation and Business Technical Consulting, LLC (BizTech) have successfully completed an implementation of Infor ERP VISUAL manufacturing software at Miljoco’s world headquarters in Warren, Michigan. With 35 people in its headquarters and manufacturing plant, 55 more at a plant in Shanghai, China – and with more than 1,500 customers around the world – Miljoco’s management knew it needed an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage the increasing complexity and remain competitive in a market that stretched across the globe. ERP Myth or Reality?

Selecting a Manufacturing ERP Software System is just another IT Manager Decision.

It’s a Myth! Successful ERP initiatives start with the right foundation. An evaluation and decision-making structure that recognizes that ERP vendor selection is actually three decisions blended into one:

- A technical decision, based mostly on what happens at the end-user level, as well as with the IT team. Includes issues like “platform” and “integration” and “customization”.

- An operational decision, based on what the company does to fulfill customer orders.

- The ERP system must adapt easily to the customer/product/service mix, and do it without extensive or expensive modifications.

- A business decision, based on the anticipated return on investment (ROI). ERP system functionality, pricing, and vendor support capabilities vary widely, and over- or underbuying, or choosing the wrong implementation partner, can reduce ROI and consume resources otherwise available to expand the enterprise.
